Key enquiry question: How does your life compare to the life of a child of a cocoa farmer?
Task 7: Read this Zooburst story about a typical morning of a child whose family is part of a fair-trade cocoa farmer co-op in the Dominican Republic.
(Story of day in life from Equal exchange website - day in the life)
When you have finished reading the story:
- Compare and contrast this child's life to your life.
- Discuss this story with your partner.
- You and your partner will create a voki discussing the similarities and differences between your life and this child's life.
(Do you remember the day we made voki news reports about climate change? This activity is the same expect you are going to do it on a different topic)
